A traditional, festive Indian drape crafted from semi-transparent crimson red georgette fabric. It features intricate all-over golden buttis (motifs) and a rich, heavily embellished double border detailed with zari threadwork, sequins, and beadwork. Paired with a matching three-quarter sleeve blouse featuring coordinating embroidery along the hem and cuffs.
Care Instructions
-
Washing: Dry clean only. Do not machine wash or soak in water at home. The heavy zari work, embroidery, and delicate sheer weave can get damaged, bleed, or tarnish if submerged in water.
-
Ironing: Steam iron lightly from a distance. If using a standard iron, set it to the lowest (Silk/Synthetic) heat setting. Always iron on the reverse side with a thin cotton cloth placed over the fabric. Never run a hot iron directly over the gold zari or stone embellishments.
-
Storage: Fold the saree neatly and wrap it in a breathable cotton or muslin cloth bag. Avoid hanging heavy embellished sarees long-term, as the weight can stretch the sheer fabric. Do not store in plastic bags. Refold along different lines every few months to prevent sharp creases from cracking the zari work.
-
Handling: Put on jewelry, watch, and perfume before draping the saree to prevent snags on the delicate sheer weave and zari work. Keep away from direct sunlight when airing out.
