A rich red saree crafted from soft Dola silk fabric, featured with small gold woven buttis across the body. It is framed by a broad gold zari border with a scalloped edge and floral weaving. The drape comes paired with a matching three-quarter sleeve blouse and a heavy woven Dola silk shawl featuring tassel accents along the corners.
Washing: Dry clean only. Water contact can alter the natural sheen and soft texture of Dola silk, while also causing metallic zari threads to lose their luster.
Ironing: Garment steaming on low heat is recommended. For traditional ironing, use the lowest silk setting on the reverse side with a dry cotton pressing cloth, keeping direct heat off the scalloped zari border.
Storage: Store folded inside a breathable cotton or muslin bag in a cool, dry location. Avoid hanging for extended periods to prevent the weight of the zari border from stretching the Dola silk fabric. Refold periodically along different lines to avoid sharp creases breaking the zari work.
Handling: Put on perfume, body sprays, and jewelry before draping to avoid snagging the woven zari motifs or staining the silk weave.
