Motif: The fabric features a classic Batik floral print. It is covered in intricate, intertwining vines, leaves, and flowers, which is a hallmark of traditional Southeast Asian textile design.
Color Palette: The base colour is a green, accented with earthy tones of golden-brown, rust-red, and orangey-brown tones. This gives it a warm, natural look.
The "Kepala" (Head): The most distinct feature is the vertical panel running down the length of the skirt. This is called the kepala. It features a contrasting geometric pattern (repeating triangles or diamonds) in dark blue and gold. When worn, this panel is usually positioned at the front or the back to create a focal point.
Care Instruction
Wash: Hand wash separately in cold water for the first few washes, as excess dye may bleed. If machine washing later, use a gentle cycle with a laundry net.
Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Never use bleach, as it will damage the traditional dyes.
Dry: Hang to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the colors from fading.
Iron: Iron on low to medium heat, preferably on the reverse side (inside out) to protect the print.
