Celebrate the timeless soul of the Kathmandu Valley. This blouse is a refined tribute to the Newari heritage, blending the iconic Haku Patasi aesthetic with the structured elegance of traditional Misālan (Newari blouse) tailoring. It is a piece designed for the modern "Maicha" who carries her culture with pride.

Product Highlights:

  • Fabric: Authentic hand-loomed Dhaka weave featuring the Haku (black) base, traditionally symbolizing the fertile soil of the Kathmandu Valley. The intricate geometric patterns are woven with motifs that mirror the ancient stone carvings of Newar architecture.

  • Front Design: A regal Misālan-inspired side-wrap closure. The asymmetric silhouette pays homage to the Chaubandi style, secured with handmade fabric ties and a signature Potli button to represent the "blooming" spirit of Newa festivals.

  • Back Design: A structured, high-neck back that provides a sophisticated frame, ensuring the vertical Dhaka stripes create an elongating and graceful posture.

  • Artisanal Accents: Defined by a striking Red Piping (Patasi border). In Newari culture, this vibrant red represents Shakti (divine energy) and life. The edges are meticulously finished to match the traditional red borders of a Haku Patasi saree.

  • Padding: Features premium, integrated padding for a "made-to-measure" feel, providing a seamless and confident fit under the heavy texture of hand-woven cotton.

  • Sleeve: Elegant three-quarter sleeves finished with a red contrast cuff. The length is designed to perfectly showcase traditional Newari Kalli (silver chunky anklets) or Tayoo bracelets if worn as a fusion set.

  • The Palette:

    • Yenya Black: Deep obsidian with red/gold highlights, ideal for formal cultural galas.

    • Basantapur Green: A forest-toned Dhaka weave with classic red borders, inspired by the lush valley landscapes.

  • Versatility: Designed to be the centerpiece of a Haku Patasi ensemble, but equally stunning when paired with a plain black silk saree or modern high-waisted culottes for a "Newa-Fusion" look.

  • Sizing: Available in standard sizes or custom tailored to your measurements.
