Newari Ornaments

Nyapu Shikha-A set of five (or sometimes more) gold chains that are pinned to the hair and draped across the head, often meeting at the Luswan or a central clip.
Makasi-Traditional Newari earrings with a distinct "basket" or heavy drop design, often featuring a small gold umbrella-like shape.
Kalli-Heavy silver anklets. Unlike other cultures where gold is preferred, Newari tradition favors thick, ornate silver kalli for the feet.
